This isn’t just a wine; it’s a liquid map of a vineyard planted back in 1888, where 29 different varieties—led by Zinfandel, Carignan, and Mataro—live together in a beautiful, tangled harmony.

In the glass, the 2022 vintage shows off a vibrant, deep ruby hue that hints at the energy within. While Bedrock is often known for its sheer muscle, the 2022 leans into a more soulful, “sings the song of Sonoma Valley” profile. Thanks to some clever viticulture—leaving a bit more leaf canopy to shade the clusters from the California sun—the fruit has retained a gorgeous lip-smacking acidity and a more supple, approachable structure than the powerhouse 2021.
