The 2017 vintage in Austria was a year of incredible concentration and clarity. After a warm summer and a perfect autumn, the wines emerged with a rare combination of ripeness and electric acidity. In the hands of Bründlmayer, the Berg Vogelsang—a site defined by its thin topsoil and hard primary rock (gneiss)—produced a wine of immense structural integrity.
