The Geoffroy family has been tending vines in the Vallée de la Marne since the 17th century, and that deep-rooted history is felt in every bubble of their Expression.

Unlike the big, corporate houses, Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy is a grower-producer who focuses on the nuances of his Premier Cru sites in Cumières. This bottling is a blend of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, but the secret sauce is the perpetual reserve—a “solera” of sorts that dates back to 1970. This adds a level of savory depth and maturity that you simply don’t find in other non-vintage bruts at this price point.

This is a “wine-drinker’s” Champagne. Because the Geoffroys avoid malolactic fermentation, the wine retains a nervous energy and a zip that keeps the rich, red-fruit flavors in check. It’s starched and stylish, yet remains exceptionally approachable.
