Château Greysac Médoc 2018

This isn’t a wine trying to reinvent the wheel; it’s just doing everything right. It leads with a generous helping of Merlot (65%), which gives it a plush, accessible core of black plum and juicy cherries. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings the structure, adding those textbook notes of cedar, cigar box, and a hint of forest floor that make Bordeaux so distinctive.

The 2018 is arguably the best Greysac we’ve seen in years. It’s “honest” wine—sophisticated enough for a dinner party but priced so you don’t feel guilty cracking a bottle with a simple weekday burger or a plate of hard cheeses.
