Circa Pinot Grigio 2024
$11.00
Pinot Grigio gets a bad rap. In the wrong hands, it’s the wallpaper of the wine world—anonymous, watery, and forgettable. But when you look toward the Berici Hills in the Veneto, away from the massive industrial bottlers, you find a different story. You find wines like Circa.
The 2024 Circa is a project we love because it champions the “power of the many.” It comes to us from a dedicated cooperative of 33 small-scale growers who treat their 350 hectares with a level of precision agriculture usually reserved for much pricier bottles. In a vintage like 2024—where freshness was the name of the game—this focus paid off.
The wine was fermented cold in stainless steel to keep every ounce of that alpine-adjacent energy intact. There’s no oak here, no heavy-handed “winemaking” distractions, and certainly no malolactic fermentation to dull the edges. It is pure, high-definition Pinot Grigio.
It doesn’t demand your undivided attention, but it rewards it if you choose to lean in. It’s the bottle you open while you’re prepping dinner—preferably something salty and simple.
