Think of this as Napa by way of the Loire, but with that unmistakable California sunshine. The 2023 vintage is zipping with electric acidity—lots of zesty lime, grapefruit pith, and a cooling streak of flinty minerality that keeps everything lean and linear. There’s a tiny bit of neutral oak in the mix here (about 20%), which doesn’t taste like oak so much as it gives the wine a lovely, rounded texture and a whisper of jasmine on the nose.
