The 2022 Les Chenevottes is a perfect example of why we love this domaine. This 1er Cru sits right on the border of Puligny, rubbing shoulders with the Grand Cru Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. In a solar vintage like 2022, that proximity to the big boys really shows through in the wine’s incredible tension and focus.
Prudhon is all about transparency. They use very little new oak (rarely more than one-third), which allows the terroir of Les Chenevottes to speak clearly. It’s a serious deal for Premier Cru Burgundy, offering the power and refinement of Chassagne without the eye-watering price tag of its more famous neighbors.
