Les Rocailles Apremont 2023

The Boniface family has been the standard-bearer for Savoie for generations, and their “Les Rocailles” bottling is a perennial favorite at the shop. Grown in the shadow of Mont Granier on soil defined by a massive prehistoric limestone landslide, this wine is 100% Jacquère—a grape that, in the right hands, delivers pure, crystalline energy.

The palate is a laser beam of lime zest and mountain air. It’s snappy, dry, and finishes with a salty tang that practically demands a plate of oysters, some soft goat cheese, or a classic Savoyard fondue if you’re feeling nostalgic for the slopes.

It’s an absolute clinic in Alpine winemaking—unpretentious, incredibly refreshing, and consistently one of the best values in the entire shop.
