Nicolas and Sylvain Grosbois represent the vibrant new guard of the Loire Valley, and this cuvée is their love letter to the convivial, food-filled atmosphere of their mother’s kitchen. Grown in the heart of Chinon and treated with the utmost respect for nature, this is Cabernet Franc in its most honest, unadulterated form.

The 2021 vintage captures a specific kind of energy—taut, lifted, and remarkably fresh. In the glass, it is medium-bodied with a crunchy acidity that makes your mouth water. The tannins are supple and refined, thanks to the gentle aging in concrete tanks rather than oak, allowing the mineral-driven terroir of the sand and gravel soils to shine through. At 12.5% ABV, it’s the kind of red you can—and should—serve with a slight chill.
