This is a molasses-based rum that defies the expectations of the category. It is remarkably dry, elegant, and possesses a structural integrity that reminds us more of a fine Sherry or a well-aged Highland malt than a typical tropical spirit.

The secret here is the artisanal Solera system—a method of fractional blending rarely seen in the rum world. A complex marriage of heavy and light rums, some aged up to 35 years in bourbon oak, is continuously funneled through rows of barrels. Because the casks are never fully emptied, every glass contains a trace of the original “mother rum” from 1992, ensuring a depth and consistency that is truly soulful.
