Winemaker Stephan Attmann combines meticulous vineyard management with precision in the cellar, working some of the oldest parcels in the Grosses Gewächs vineyards of Forst, Deidesheim, and Ruppertsberg. Inspired by techniques from the Côte d’Or and beyond, Attmann plants high-density vines—9,500 per hectare—encouraging deep root growth and naturally low yields, while employing single cane trellising and fermenting in 500L French barrels. With organic and sustainable practices at the core, the resulting Riesling displays purity, rich texture, and vibrant intensity, built to evolve gracefully over 10+ years.
