Weinbach Gewurztraminer Tre Loup 2022

While the grape itself is famously flamboyant, Weinbach treats it with a level of precision and restraint that few others can match. “Les Treilles du Loup” (The Wolf’s Vines) is sourced from 40- to 50-year-old biodynamic vines in the Wolfreben lieu-dit, where granitic sands and early ripening produce a wine of immense concentration and startling clarity.

The 2022 vintage is a triumph of balance. On the nose, it offers a sophisticated bouquet of Damask rose, white tea, and a subtle flick of pink pepper. On the palate, the wine is silky and expansive, bursting with juicy peach and tingling orange zest.
