Brighton Liquor was founded by Bob Leighton, who transformed his passion into a respected neighborhood institution. Though he began with little wine knowledge, Bob immersed himself in learning—traveling, tasting, and personally selecting bottles that reflected his commitment to quality. His honesty, expertise, and carefully curated inventory built Brighton Liquor’s reputation as a trusted destination for wine lovers. Today, under the stewardship of former employees new owners Alex and Dan, the store continues Bob’s traditions.
